Co-Founder of the Hana Hou Music Program and a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Collin Crake brings both artistry and vision to the evolving world of music. He will present actionable steps for musicians on how to start a nonprofit organization of their own based real-world examples, as well as answer questions on career development and organizing community engagement programs.
An award-winning saxophonist, Colin has earned national and international recognition, including First Prize at the North American Saxophone Alliance Collegiate Solo Competition, Third Prize at the Andorra SaxFest International Saxophone Competition, and First Prize in the Vandoren Emerging Artist Competition.
Now based in Boulder, Colorado, Colin channels his passion into the Hana Hou Music Program, helping expand access to music education across Maui. His work is rooted in a commitment to community—providing free musical resources, fostering connection, and empowering the next generation of musicians.
