Tim Ishii

Tim Ishii has been the Director of Jazz Studies/Saxophone ot University of Texas, Arlington since 2004. Under his direction, the UT Jazz Orchestra has attained numerous awards and been invited to prestigious jazz festivals ground the country. As a performer, Mr. Ishii's maintains a busy freelance schedule with numerous groups including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, and has performed alongside numerous artists including Natalie Cole, Temptations, Doc Severinson, Clark Terry, James Moody, Slide Hampton, Bob Mintzer & Pete Christlieb. Mr. Ishii is an Artist/Clinician for Conn-Selmer and D'Addario.

Glenn Kostur

Glenn Kostur has been the Director of Jozz studies at the University of New Mexico since 1995. He is a veteran saxophonist, composer/ arranger, and was musical director of the legendary Maynard Ferguson big bond and oppeared on three recordings: Big Bop Nouveau, Footpath Cafe, and Live From London. In addition, some of his mony recording credits also include the Steve Wiest Jazz Orchestra, the HR Big Band, the Frank Montooth Jazz Orchestra, the Dollos jazz Orchestra, and the Chicogo's Jazz Members Big Band. Mr. Kostur is a graduate of the University of North Texas (B.M. Jazz Studies Performance) and DePaul University (M.M. Jazz Studies Composition) and is a Yamaha Performing Artist and a D'Addario reeds artist.
