Hawai‘i Symphony Orchestra: Birds & Angels

We are pleased to announce Todd Yukumoto as guest soloist with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra. This will be the first saxophonist to be featured with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and only the second performance of the Kapustin’s saxophone concerto in the United States.

Keitaro Harada leads the HSO in our final indoor Masterworks concert of the season. The performance features three selections from prolific Japanese composer, Takashi Yoshimatsu. Todd Yukumoto plays Nikolai Kapustin’s jazz-inspired Concerto for Alto Saxophone.
