Mr. Pittel’s performances have taken him to the stage with world-renowned orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony, Denver Symphony, and the Seattle Symphony.
His extensive discography of 28 recordings showcases everything from intimate chamber music to powerful orchestral concertos. His sound has also reached millions through appearances on major film soundtracks.
Beyond the spotlight, Pittel is a respected educator and mentor, holding the title of Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas at Austin and is currently teaching at the Colburn School and Cal State LA.
